I am about to dive in to baking this morning. 2 dozen cherry vanilla, cherry filled, fresh cherry buttercream frosted cupcakes.
I will definitely have to taste test these!!
I am using a basic homemade vanilla cake recipe and adding maraschino cherry juice and chopped maraschino cherries to the batter.
Then, I am going to fill them with pureed Comstock Country Cherry filling.
For the frosting, I am making homemade vanilla buttercream but I am dicing some organic sweet cherries and whipping them in.
I am debating on whether or not to top them off with a maraschino cherry halve though, we shall see.

Unfortunately, I lost all of my images when my PC fried in Oct of this year. I’m working on a new PC and still waiting for my IT guy to attempt to remove the data from the old hard drive, hence the lack of images. Poo! Thanks for the follow, Mona!
